Yokayo Biofuels is a biodiesel production and distribution company operating in the Ukiah Valley of Northern California since 2001.

We are committed to ecological, social and economic sustainability.  Our fuel is made from locally collected used restaurant fryer oil, which is currently the most sustainable biodiesel source.

We’re also working on the development of new technologies and feedstocks, including other forms of recycling and high-yeild crops that can be grown locally and won’t compete with food.

• We care tremondously about the
    health of the natural world.

• We know what we’re doing.
    We’ve been distributing pure
     biodiesel fuel for over eight
     years! Fuel production started
     in 2005, using equipment
     developed in-house.

• We are completely dedicated to a
     local, living economy.

• We are vertically integrated. We
collect the oil, make the fuel, and
    deliver it to the customer.

• We believe small is beautiful. We
    believe in shipping our business
    model, instead of our product.

• We want you to use less fuel.
   We rejoice that the diesel
    engine is so efficient, and
    encourage everyone to press
    for deisel-electric plug-in
    hybrids. The technology
    exists. We’ve ridden in it!

Obviously, this is a group project. We don’t only produce your fuel, we use it.  In fact, between the company fleet and the employee vehicles, we are our own biggest customer!  That’s a good thing, because it keeps us seriously invested in fuel quality and knowledge about its usage in an assortment of different engines and situations.
