   As a Watershed Scientist,
I take an integrative approach to surface water hydrology, concentrating on ecological interactions and human influences.  I work with landowners and citizens through education and hands-on land use pracice, focusing on soil-water interactions, erosion control methods, sustainable development, habitat restoration, watershed management, conservation and surface water hydrology. I use statistical methods and modeling, specializing in spatial relationships.
 
    I am also Co-Director of
Sustain Local Mendocino, along with  Architect Joe Ødegård. We created this site to promote the long-term prosperity of our county.
